Challenge
While Acres Landing is designed to offer a desert escape with modern comforts, unreliable Wi-Fi coverage and inadequate security measures posed a challenge. With the rising demand for reliable connectivity, some guests experienced frustration when trying to stream content, work remotely, or stay in touch with loved ones. Additionally, guest safety has always been a priority for the property, but an enhanced security system was needed in order to truly maximize security.
Property management sought a solution that could guarantee uninterrupted, robust internet across the resort’s expansive outdoor areas as well as inside its campers, while also adding modern surveillance features for improved safety.

- Touchstone 1 custom-designed and installed a comprehensive Wi-Fi solution for Acres Landing, which involved strategically placing Ruckus access points in each camper to guarantee fast, consistent coverage throughout the resort.
- The upgrade has significantly improved guest satisfaction, as it enables guests to stream, work, and connect with ease throughout the property, whether inside or outside their campers.
- Touchstone 1 also installed an advanced security camera system offering real-time surveillance, placing cameras throughout the property to monitor key areas and enhance safety.
